Description

Camp runs from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. 

There is a lunch break from Noon - 1:00 PM. There are lunch packages for purchase through Bellarmine's Camp Valor. You may instead pack a lunch. At about 10:30 and 2:30, we have “Re-Chess” where we head outside to take a short brain break and have a snack.

Bellarmine's Camp Valor will email you with instructions on drop off and pick up.

Chess Boards are provided for all campers for use during the camp. If you have a TKS Chess Tote you do not need to bring it.

One Week of Summertime Fun!

 

Become absolutely devastating at Summer Chess Camp! Coach loves teaching beginners during this super-fun concentrated time. There will be daily chess puzzlers for prizes, daily tactics to learn for new colorful wristbands, chess play with mardi-gras beads on the line...all with an exciting, energized spirit. Have your chess breakthrough at Chess Camp in our great network of chess friends!

Chess Camp is a super-fun, high-energy experience in which kids grades K-5 celebrate a new chess tactic each day with silly videos, music-driven puzzlers for prizes, colorful Tactixbands, chess movies, and clock slapping tourneys for Mardi-Gras beads! Laughter, fun competition, and compelling teaching make this camp a summer highlight. New students welcome! Extra time allows for a stress-free, fun learning environment. TKS Summer Chess Camps are the perfect way to keep your brain sharp during the summer while having a real blast!
